Sciencewithme.com - Great new site

Hello Everyone!....ok, Hello self or follower, if any,

I embarked on a new site that I am sure to love and wanted to share this with you, or myself...hahaha.  Anywho, after helping my eldest with homework, I began researching sites to add to her favorites and mine. I came across the site http://www.sciencewithme.com/ and on the front page, saw this link labeled Science with Mom.  Very excited, I clicked it and loved the read. I discovered some fascinating information about flouride and will more than likely make toothpaste with my babies from now on.

I have not tried the recipe yet but wanted to share this tidbit of flouride detail with my readers and facebook fans.  Please read the link below and don't give me any credit because I did not write the article and don't want to be involved in any copyright infringement cases.

Here's the link: http://www.sciencewithme.com/lets-make-homemade-toothpaste/

Happy Reading!

Carbomers and Hair Gels

In formulating a natural gel recipe, it is challenging to get the desired consistency without the use of carbomer. If you are trying to make a gel would you use carbomer?  What is a carbomer you ask? According to cosmeticsinfo.org, a carbomer is "a term used for a series of polymers primarily made from acrylic acid. The Carbomers are white, fluffy powders but are frequently used as gels in cosmetics and personal care products. Carbomers can be found in a wide variety of product types including skin, hair, nail, and makeup products, as well as dentifrices." Carbomers are deemed safe by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel and are designed to help distribute or suspend an insoluble solid in a liquid while holding all ingredients together; a way to maintain consistency.  I repeat this ingredient has been labeled as a safe ingredient.  If it's safe and it works, why not use it? Would you use a gel with carbomer in it?  My guess is yes since most gels on the market contain carbomer, along with many other products.  Well, I took interest in Carbomer because it's in every gel I have ever purchased and loved. Also, I am trying to perfect my own Curli Jel-E/Puddi/Cream.

A Very Happy Customer!

Just got off the phone with a very very Happy Customer!!!

Ms. Grace raved about how she was completely bald and went to pay for a Hair Treatment.  They advised it would take 1 year for her hair to grow.  This was in 2007.  December 2010 her son took her a sample size of the Healthy Hair Whip.  She called because she has begged and begged him to bring her more Healthy Hair Whip.  She has never experienced growth like this. Before Chaner Natural, she thought her hair would never grow back. Today, she was looking in the mirror and can't stop smiling.
I am so grateful for her growth!!! I am even more grateful that she chose to share her story with me.  I thank GOD for her son recognizing the opportunity and connecting his Mom with Chaner Natural.

This started out as a facebook post but was too long to completely capture my expression. GOD used this story to bless me in more ways than one. I have known for a while that a blog was a necessary part of Chaner Natural. I have struggled with starting a blog because I didn't know what topics to cover and when. This call today sparked an excitement to share because I really didn't have any content for FB today.  This then led to the start of the Chaner Natural blog. Thank you GOD for sending KO and Grace into my life at this time.  Thank you GOD for the formulation of Chaner Natural and the Healthy Hair Whip. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
